T&T Olympic bronze medallist, Deon Lendore, has died.
Sending condolences, the T&T Olympic Committee says the three-time Olympian has been an inspiration on and off the track.
According to reports, the 29-year-old runner was involved in a car crash in Texas.
Lendore, who is from Arima, won his Olympic bronze in the 4×400-metre relay in London.
He also won a World Championship silver and a World Indoor Championship bronze for the same event.
Lendore further won bronze in the 400-metre event twice at the World Indoor Championship.
