The entire 2021 Caribbean Premier League will be hosted at Warner Park, St Kitts with a 50% capacity for fully vaccinated spectators.
This was revealed at a CPL media conference by St Kitts and Nevis Sport Minister Jonel Powell with the first game to be played on August 28th.
He said some patrons will be allowed once fully inoculated.
Meanwhile, the venue – Warner Park – will only host matches while several other venues on the island will be used for training.
The next step will be the player draft and CPL CEO Pete Russell noted that fans can expect some surprises.
Also announced at today’s conference is the continuation of the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots for another five years after a renewal of terms with CPL.
