Trinbago Knight Riders co-owner Shah Rukh Khan says he hopes to make it to watch the inaugural women’s CPL live.

The tournament features TKR, Barbados Tridents and Guyana Amazon Warriors and will run concurrently with the men’s tournament which bowls off on August 30th.

SRK today retweeted a TKR post about the competition and said, “This is such a happy moment for all of us at @KKRiders @ADKRiders & of course the lovely set of people at
@TKRiders. Hope I can make it there to see this live!!”

There has been no word yet on the venues for the women’s CPL.

Meanwhile, new Knight Riders franchise Abu Dhabi commented on SRK’s tweet saying that they too hope to see him in attendance at the inaugural International League T20 in the UAE.

That new tournament is carded to start on January 6th, 2023.
