T&T fast bowler Jayden Seales has earned a call-up to the West Indies ODI team for the upcoming tours of Netherlands and Pakistan.
Cricket West Indies today announced the team to visit the two countries starting at the end of this month.
Seales is among three players yet to play ODIs – fellow fast bowler Shermon Lewis and batter Keacy Carty has also been given the nod.
Seales and Lewis have represented West Indies at the Test level while Carty is the first player from St Maarten to be selected for the West Indies Senior Men’s Team.
Meanwhile, CWI says all-rounder Jason Holder is being rested to manage his workload while Shimron Hetmyer is unavailable for selection to be at home for the birth of his first child.
It says Evin Lewis was not considered for selection after failing to meet CWI’s fitness criteria.
