In their first official practice match of the CPL 2019 season, the Trinbago Knight Rides divided themselves into two teams at the Queens Park Oval on Sunday: The Keiron Pollard XI and the Dwayne Bravo XI, led by Brian Lara.
Pollard’s team came out on top after scoring 131 runs in 18.1 overs with Jimmy Neesham scoring 26, Jalarnie Searles 20.
Dexter Sween took 4/32 and Javon Searles 2/38 for Bravo’s team.
The Bravo XI then were bowled out for 84 in 19.1 overs as Javon Searles top scored with 35 and the legend Lara scoring just 12.
Neeshan took 3.18 and Russ Jaggesar 3/17.
The match was played through a Fan Decision System ‘The Selector App’ involving a smartphone App, where the fans were able to choose who bowled when, who batted at what number and so on.
