West Indies cricketers are being urged to savor the dream of playing in England ahead of tomorrow’s first Test against the hosts.
Kieron Pollard, via Windies Cricket’s Twitter account, today sent best wishes to the team ahead of what will be the first international cricket in months as the game was brought to a halt by COVID-19.
The white-ball skipper told the team that the world is starving for the game and that a lot of eyes will be on the Rose Bowl in Southampton.
Pollard, who has not played Test cricket for West Indies during his 13 year international career, said the players have the opportunity to live the dream of many cricketers.
Throughout the day, we’ll be sharing the love and support for our #MenInMaroon ❤🌴
