Fast bowler Shermon Lewis has replaced a recovering Alzarri Joseph in the Windies’ Test squad to face India next month.
Joseph suffered a stress fracture last November and is continuing his rehabilitation at the High-Performance Centre at Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua.
Lewis made his debut at the first-class level for the Windward Islands in March 2017 and took 30 wickets at an average of 21.66 and recently toured England as part of the WINDIES A squad.
Some members of the Test squad are already in Dubai and have begun training sessions at the ICC Academy.
The India tour consists of two Tests, five ODIs and 3 T20is.
