Narine and KKR into IPL finals after rollercoaster qualifier

    Sunil Narine and the Kolkata Knight Riders will face Dwayne Bravo’s Chennai Super Kings in the final of this year’s Indian Premier League.

    KKR today beat Shimron Hetmyer and the Delhi Capitals by three wickets in a thrilling match.

    Chasing 136, KKR started with a 96-run partnership between Venkatesh Iyer (55) and Shubman Gill (46).

    But they fell from 123/1 to 130/7 by the second to last ball of the match, losing four batters for ducks (including Narine) as Delhi fought back.

    With six runs needed from two balls, Rahul Tripathi hit Ravi Ashwin’s hattrick ball for six to seal victory.

    Earlier, Delhi made 135/5 in 20 overs – Narine bowled four wicketless overs for 27 runs.
