Colin Munro redeemed himself after back-to-back ducks with 65 runs from 54 balls to help set up a comfortable win for Trinbago Knight Riders, who remain unbeaten in CPL20.

His knock propelled TKR to 184/4 in 20 overs batting first against Jamaica Tallawahs – skipper Kieron Pollard made 33 not out to give a late kick to the scoring rate.

Tallawahs’ chase started horribly as Akeal Hosein continued to impress with the ball, removing Chadwick Walton with the first ball of the innings.

Glenn Phillips made 41 and Andre Russell made a 23-ball half century but the Jamaica franchise could not pull off the chase, falling short by 19 runs.

Munro was named Player of the Match for the 2nd time this season as Trinbago moved to a maximum 14 points after seven games – Tallawahs sit in 4th place with six points.
