Michael Muirhead steps down as Coolidge Cricket Ground manager

Michael Muirhead has stepped down from his role of managing the Coolidge Cricket Ground.

Over the last three years, Mr Muirhead has spearheaded the joint-purchase and development of the CCG for CWI in partnership with the Government of Antigua & Barbuda.

He is now credited with transforming the CCG into a vibrant and sustainable world-class training and match venue for West Indies cricket.

Nelecia Yeates, the former CWI commercial manager and commercial director for the ICC Women’s World Twenty20 2018, will take up the position of CCG general manager.

On Saturday, CWI President Ricky Skerritt hosted a brief reception during the quarterly board meeting of CCG to bid Mr Muirhead farewell.

He previously served regional cricket as chief executive officer (2012 – 2016) after which he was succeeded by current CEO Johnny Grave.
