Retired T&T footballer Kenwyne Jones will coach 50 primary school students from across the country in the upcoming Atlantic Football Development Camp.
It takes place on December 14th and 15th at the Hasely Crawford Stadium and includes the top performing boys and girls from the recently concluded Atlantic National Primary Schools Football League.
The young footballers will be guided through technical drills and exercises such as dribbling, passing and control, culminating in two matches at the end of each day.
Jones will also lead sessions to share insights from his football career and some of the life lessons he has learned.
The striker played for T&T from 2003 to 2017, scoring 23 goals for country, while he also represented clubs including Southampton, Sunderland, Stoke City, Cardiff City and MLS franchise Atlanta United.
Jones spent nine seasons in England’s Premier League and was named Sunderland Player of the Year in 2007-08.
