West Indies fast bowler Kemar Roach has been named in a 14-man Surrey squad for their second game of the England county season.

Roach and Liam Plunkett replace seamers Reece Topley and Gus Atkinson for the clash against Leicestershire between April 15th and 18th 2021.

Surrey will be chasing their first win of the season after losing their opening encounter with Gloucestershire by eight wickets.

Roach signed for the county side in March for the first seven matches of the season.

The final match he will be eligible for selection for will be Middlesex between May 20th and 23rd after which he is expected to return to the West Indies’ international programme.

The Barbadian has only has one previous spell in English county cricket – he played for Worcestershire in 2011 and took 14 wickets in four games at an average of 39.28.
