West Indies all-rounder Keemo Paul’s time in the IPL with the Delhi Capitals has secured him a stint with the Hobart Hurricanes and a recommendation from Australia legend Ricky Ponting.
The Hurricanes are due to bowl off the 2020-21 Big Bash League at home in the Blundstone Arena on December 10th.
The 22-year-old Guyana national is with the West Indies in New Zealand and will join the Hurricanes after the completion of the tour.
A self-proclaimed BBL fan, Paul says he is excited about what will be his first stint in the Australian tournament.
Recently, T&T’s Nicholas Pooran signed on with Melbourne Stars and he too will start his tournament after fulfilling his international commitments on the New Zealand tour.
