The trial on doping allegations against West Indies cricketer John Campbell has been adjourned to August 2nd, 2022.
According to the West Indies Players’ Association, the preliminary hearing was held on July 6th with the trial date initially set for July 19th.
However, the trial has since been adjourned.
Campbell, according to reports, did not submit to a drug test by a representative of the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission in April.
If found guilty, he could be banned for up to four years for “evading, refusing, or failing to submit to a sample collection.”
