Following his exploits in the 2020 CPL, West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder has returned to IPL franchise, SunRisers Hyderabad.
Holder has been called up to replace Mitchell Marsh who injured his right ankle in SunRisers’ first match of this year’s tournament.

The Barbadian returns to the franchise after having a stint with them in the 2014 IPL – he played just one match, making 16 runs and grabbing one wicket.
Holder may be expected to play a bigger role in this year’s tournament as he is coming off a decent CPL performance.
In the 2020 league, he scored 192 runs in 10 innings at a strike rate of 140.14 while he took 10 wickets at an economy rate of 6.63.
This will be Holder’s fourth IPL stint – in addition to his 2014 appearance for SunRisers, he played six games for Chennai Super Kings in 2013 and four matches for Kolkata Knight Riders in 2016.
