A whirlwind innings by Jason Holder has powered Sydney Sixers to a penultimate ball, two-wicket win over Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League.
Holder’s 33 from 18 balls helped Sixers chase 169 to go top of the BBL table with their 4th win this season.
16 of the West Indian’s runs came in the final over of the chase, as, after running two runs, he pummeled Will Sutherland two fours and a six to seal the thrilling win.
He was named Player of the Match for his innings.
Earlier, Holder also took a wicket as the ‘Gades were restricted to 168/6 – fellow West Indians Carlos Brathwaite took two wickets.
