Holder, Gabriel dominate England’s batting


    Skipper Jason Holder grabbed 6 wickets while Shannon Gabriel took 4, as the West Indies dominated England’s batting lineup on Day 2 of the 1st Test in Southampton.

    Holder took the prized scalps of England captain Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler, ending with figures of 6/42.

    Gabriel meanwhile took 4/62 as England were bowled out for 204.

    The Windies first innings reply got off to a solid start, with the visitors reaching 57/1 before bad light forced an end to the day’s play.

    The lone batsman to fall was John Campbell (28), who was adjudged LBW off the bowling of James Anderson.
