Shimron Hetmyer has been recalled to the West Indies white-ball team for the upcoming T20Is against India and New Zealand.

Hetmyer last featured in West Indies colours in November 2021 against Australia in the T20 World Cup in Abu Dhabi.

Reports indicate that his absence has been due to a combination of fitness requirements and personal reasons but that he recently passed his fitness test.
