After being out with an injury, T&T fast bowler Shannon Gabriel’s pace is back – and in time to face Leeward Islands next week.

The Red Force take on the Leewards at the Diego Martin Sports Complex in the third round of the CWI 4-Day Tournament from next Wednesday.

Gabriel has been named in the latest squad after missing out in the innings and 43-run win over Windwards in February.

Speaking to the media today, Coach David Furlonge said Gabriel has been working hard to fully recover.

Meanwhile, despite the extended break between rounds two and three, Coach Furlonge assured that his players have been involved in lots of club cricket at home in T&T.

In addition, they have been training.

Red Force sit in second place with 38.6 points, just behind Barbados who have 42 points and ahead of Leewards who have 24.6 points.

The squad to face Leewards is as follows: Imran Khan (captain), Keagan Simmons, Jeremy Solozano, Darren Bravo, Jason Mohammed, Joshua Da Silva, Akeal Hosein, Bryan Charles, Anderson Phillip, Jayden Seales, Shannon Gabriel, Yannic Cariah, Khary Pierre, Isaiah Rajah, Uthman Muhammad.
