
England will tour Sri Lanka for two Tests behind closed doors in January 2021 – their penultimate series of the ICC World Test Championship.
The England and Wales Cricket Board today announced that it has agreed to bio-security and travel plans for the rearranged tour.
The original tour was postponed in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the ECB, the touring party will leave England on January 2nd 2020 and will quarantine in Hanbantota.
The first Test will take place on January 14th-18th with the second Test on January 22nd-26th 2021.
Following this series, England will face India in February (subject to confirmation) in the their final matches of the World Test Championship.
