Dwayne Bravo has been ruled out of the rest of this year’s Indian Premier League with a groin injury.
According to ESPNcricinfo, confirmation of the news came via Chennai Super Kings’ CEO Kasi Viswanathan.
Bravo has suffered a grade one tear to his right groin and is said to be leaving the UAE on Thursday.
He picked up the injury during CSK’s match against the Delhi Capitals on October 17th.
Bravo, speaking ahead of his departure, says it is sad to be leaving the team, admitting that CSK has not had the season they wanted.
The Super Kings are last in the eight-team table having won just three of their 10 games in the tournament.
