Day 3, 2nd Test: India gets 131-run lead over Aussies

India has garnered a healthy 131-run first innings lead on Day 3 of the Boxing Day Test against Australia after being bowled out for 326.

Starting the day on 277/5, India’s stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane lost his wicket in the first session after scoring a brilliant 112 runs to lead the visitors, while Ravi Jadeja had a knock of 57 to assist their final score.

In the end, Nathan Lyon and Mitchell Starc had 3 wickets each.

Australia were bundled out for 195 in their first innings and are looking to bat on a tricky wicket to regain a lead without losing too many wickets.

The match looks in favor of India, though the Aussies at home are known for their spectacular second innings turn-arounds.
