“A West Indian legend in his own right” – this is how Cricket West Indies President Ricky Skerritt describes late Sandals Chairman Gordon “Butch” Stewart.
Mr Stewart, who passed away on Monday, is also deemed to be a true supporter of the game at all levels.
His company, Sandals International Resorts, has been a long-standing partner of West Indies cricket.
Mr Skerritt says Mr Stewart was a life-long West Indies cricket fan and a fierce champion of the Caribbean.
