The Cricket West Indies Annual General Meeting has been adjourned due to “a lack of quorum”.
The AGM got underway at 10am yesterday, however despite previously authorizing their representatives to attend, there was no one from the Guyana Cricket Board or the Barbados Cricket Association.
Attempts to reach the representatives from both were also unsuccessful, with the meeting eventually adjourned at 10:50am.
According to the CWI, the Articles of Association stipulate that nine representatives of the Full Members need to be present in person to constitute a quorum.
It says all eight representatives duly authorized to represent the Jamaica Cricket Association, Leeward Islands Cricket Board, Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board and the Windward Islands Cricket Board were present.
At a subsequent emergency meeting of the CWI Board of Directors, it was decided that the AGM will resume on April 11th.
