Chennai Super Kings picked up their first win of IPL 2022, with a 23 run triumph over Royal Challengers Bangalore today.
CSK were sent in to bat first, and made 216/4.
Robin Uthappa made 88 but the star of the night was Shivam Dube, who knocked an unbeaten 95 off just 46 deliveries.
In reply, RCB lost their first four wickets fairly early, and were lingering on 50/4 inside of 7 overs.
The middle order staged a revival with a top score of 41 from Shahbaz Ahmed, however the target proved to be too much.
They lost wickets regularly thereafter, and ended on 193/9 in their 20 overs.
The result means CSK are no longer at the bottom of the table – they move up one place to 9th with one win and four losses from five matches.
RCB are now 5th with three wins and two losses from their five matches.
