Ahead of the CPL22 final, Barbados Royals are looking to improve their batting while the Jamaica Tallawahs are upbeat but aware of the Royals’ might.

The captains of the teams spoke with the media today ahead tomorrow’s 7pm clash in Providence, Guyana.

Despite Barbados’ stellar run to the final where they won nine of their 11 games, skipper Kyle Mayers said the team could be “much better” batting-wise.

However, he said the team’s never-say-die attitude is what has been working well for them so far.

Jamaica captain Rovman Powell meanwhile noted that his squad is upbeat but acknowledged that Barbados may be the best team of CPL22.

But he assured that his players are up for the challenge.
