Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Dwayne Bravo could possibly miss the rest of the 2020 IPL due to his most recent injury.
According to his team’s head coach Stephen Fleming, Bravo could miss the next few days or a couple of weeks. The extent of his injury was not made known, and there has been no definite ruling on how many matches he will miss.
The Trinidadian sustained a groin injury during the match against the Delhi Capitals on Saturday, in which CSK were defeated by 5 wickets.
Bravo is seen as the team’s designated death bowler for the final over, and wasn’t able to do so in that match, forcing the captain to opt for spin in that case.
Bravo was also injured during the Caribbean Premier League this year, picking up a knee problem which he carried into the IPL, but recovered to play in CSK’s fourth match.
