Another comfortable win for Bangladesh against an inexperienced West Indies has sealed an ODI series sweep.
The hosts batted first in the third and final match in Chattogram and piled on 297/6 with Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah all reaching 64.
Shakib Al Hasan added 51 while the regional team gave away 22 extras (15 wides, three no-balls and four leg-byes).
Alzarri Joseph and Raymon Reifer split four wickets, Kyle Mayers grabbed one and Akeal Hosein and Jahmar Hamilton combined for a run out.
In reply, West Indies were bundled out for 177 – their highest score of the three-game series.
Rovman Powell made a solid 47 while Nkrumah Bonner (31) and Raymon Reifer (27) had starts which they couldn’t capitalize on.
Mohammad Saifuddin took three wickets, Mustafizur Rahman and Mehidy Hasan Miraz took two each and there was one-apiece for Taskin Ahmed and Soumya Sarkar.
The victories in the three matches of the ODI series have seen Bangladesh jump to second place in the World Cup Super League standings.
West Indies are yet to get off the mark.
The Super League is part of the qualification journey to the 50-over World Cup in October and November 2023.
