50s for Brathwaite, Brooks and Holder in Aussie tour warm-up

    Kraigg Brathwaite, Shamarh Brooks and Jason Holder struck 50s as the West Indies began their warm-ups for two Tests against Australia.

    A three-day tour match started yesterday against a Combined XI at Phillip Oval in Canberra.

    West Indies ended Day 1 on 297/5 with Brathwaite, Brooks and Holder making 75, 56 and 50 not out respectively.

    Following this game, the West Indies are scheduled to play another tour match against a Prime Minister’s XI from November 23rd to 26th.

    The first Test bowls off on November 29th at 10:20pm, while the second Test – a day/night affair – is set to start at 12am on December 8th.
