The second ODI between West Indies and Ireland has been postponed following the confirmation of additional COVID-19 cases.
In a joint statement, Cricket West Indies and Cricket Ireland said there were two further positive COVID-19 cases in the Ireland camp following recent testing.
Two players were also ruled out due to injury, resulting in Ireland having a severely depleted squad.
CWI and CI are now in discussions to review the match schedule and explore all possibilities for the series to be completed.
The five members of the Ireland team who have returned positive COVID-19 results remain in isolation under the care and supervision of the medical teams.
The 2nd ODI was scheduled for Sabina Park, Jamaica on January 11th.
