“Zesser Party” attendees to be charged via summons

More than 250 persons found at a “Zesser Party” on Sunday morning will be charged via summons.

According to the Police Service, this decision was taken due to health risk associated with keeping the accused in cells at police stations.

Head of the Central Division, Senior Supt Curt Simon says this “arduous task” is expected to take at least a week to complete.

Several units of the TTPS descended upon a warehouse in Kelly Village, where the event was broken up and the persons held.
