PNM MP Stuart Young was told to take a “walk” following a disruption to Parliamentary proceedings this afternoon.

A heated debate began during a sitting of the Standing Finance Committee which is examining government’s expenditure.

Chairman Bridgid Annisette-George intervened after Oropouche West MP Dave Tancoo claimed opposition members were being called “racist”.

Since the incident, MP Tancoo has issued a media release stating that he will not be intimidated by MP Young.
