While admitting that the La Horquetta Walkover is “unsightly”, the Works Ministry says structure poses no threat to the public.
According to a release from the Ministry, there has been concern for safety among members of the public.
A video has been circulating on social media showing the condition of the walkover.
The Ministry says the upgrade of the walkover is halfway done but scheduled repairs have been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, the Ministry is assuring the public a team has been mobilized to work on the structure.
