WITCO confirms “swift” completion of wage negotiations with SWWTU

After four meetings with the SWWTU, the West Indian Tobacco Company Limited says wage negotiations for 2020 to 2022 have been completed.

In a media release, WITCO says the collective agreements are for both hourly rated and monthly paid workers.

They were signed off in December last year following meetings between September and November.

The company says it was one of the swiftest negotiation closures in its more than 100-year history.
