The One-Day International Series between West Indies and Australia will resume on Saturday and conclude on Monday.
The second ODI was suspended on Thursday before a ball was bowled, after a non-playing member of the West Indies squad tested positive for COVID-19.
All other players, staff and other personnel associated with the series have since returned negative PCR tests.
Following meetings between Cricket West Indies and Cricket Australia on Friday evening, CWI announced that the second match will continue at 2:30pm on Saturday, with Australia having won the toss and elected to bat at Kensington Oval.
The ODI Series forms part of the ICC’s ODI Super League, where both teams are aiming to win points towards securing automatic qualification for the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup in India.
Following this series, West Indies are scheduled to face Pakistan in five T20 Internationals and two Test Matches.
CWI says it will meet with the Pakistan Cricket Board in the coming days to discuss any necessary changes to the match schedule.
