The Kalpoo brothers are again at the forefront of rescue efforts in the midst of devastating floods in South Trinidad.
In a video posted by Munroe Road/Caroni Savannah Councillor Adrian Ali, Navin and Ravi Kalpoo are shown using a dinghy to take persons through flood waters.
Their efforts he adds, is in collaboration with the Barrackpore West Flood Relief Team along with the Penal Debe Foundation
Their efforts have since been lauded on social media.
The brothers, who operate Kalpoo’s Caroni Bird Sanctuary Ibis Tours, played a key role in evacuating residents of Kelly Village who were stranded in their homes during the widespread flooding experienced in October 2018.
