Extensive repairs to a defective pump, which is behind a water disruption in southeast Trinidad, are underway, according to WASA.
The company says the issue is at the St Julien Booster Station and is affecting supply to the following areas:
• Parts of St. Mary’s/ Moruga
• New Grant
• Craignish
• Hindustan
• 6th Company Road
These repairs are due to be completed by January 21st 2022.
Meanwhile, WASA says there has been a short unforeseen delay in the completion of repairs at the Siparia Water Treatment Plant, which has been amended to today.
