A ruptured 22 inch transmission pipeline has led to a water disruption in Valley View, Maracas, St. Joseph.
According to WASA, the rupture was discovered in the forested cross-country, upper Maracas Valley area.
It says access to conduct repairs has been restricted, due to a damaged bridge and landslip along the route, following recent rainfall.
The Authority is currently assessing various options that will allow access to the pipeline, and has promised to provide a further update on the commencement of repairs and projected completion date.
In the interim, it says a limited truck borne water supply will be made available upon request.
