Citizens should continue conserving water, according to WASA, as levels at the four main reservoirs remain low for this time of year.
It says the Hollis Reservoir is most impacted with a level of 18.91% compared with its long term average (LTA) of 60.81% while at Navet the level is at 27.65% compared with an LTA of 57.93%.
Due to this, there will continue to be reduced supply to parts of Arima, Piparo, Princes Town, New Grant, Tableland and Mayaro.
Meanwhile, Tobago’s Hillsborough Dam is at 30.58% compared to its LTA of 56.68% and Arena has the best water level of 38.97% but still lags behind its long term average of 60.91%.
WASA says while it is taking steps to provide a supplemental truck borne supply persons should maintain strict conservation measures.
It warns that water use restrictions imposed in January, as well as temporary supply schedules, remain in place until further notice.
