Vendors are expected to be back at the Scarborough Market in the next couple of months.
This comes after they were temporarily relocated last year to make room for refurbishment works at the facility.
The Tobago House of Assembly’s (THA) Secretary of the Division of Food Production, Forestry and Fisheries, Hayden Spencer says these are 95% completed with just interior work remaining.
He says they expect those to be finished by the end of August to be followed by the commissioning of the refurbished facility in September.
According to the THA, the refurbishment is part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen the infrastructure and improve Tobago’s agriculture sector.
