UWI St Augustine implements remote working until May 23rd

In response to rising numbers of COVID-19 cases and other factors, the UWI St Augustine Campus will work remotely starting today.

This has been confirmed in a media release which states that this measure will be in place until May 23rd or as advised by national guidelines.

Campus Principal Professor Brian Copeland says the decision was made based on the numbers of cases in T&T, the severity of the P1 variant, hospitalizations and protection of the campus community.

During this time, UWI’s Security services and the Department of Facilities Management will maintain physical security and safety.
