UPDATED: The Met Office has discontinued its Yellow Level Adverse Weather Alert.
The update came at 3:39pm today, roughly 20 minutes before the alert was supposed to end.
The Met Office says impactful rainfall activity has decreased but warns that some areas may still experience occasional light to moderate showers.
INITIAL ARTICLE: The T&T Met Service has issued a Yellow Level Adverse Weather Alert that began at 11:15am on Wednesday and lasts until 4:00pm.
A high chance (70%) of thunderstorm activity is expected to affect various parts of Trinidad and lesser extent, Tobago on Wednesday.
Gusty winds, street and/or flash flooding are possible in those areas affected.
