UNC moves through several constituencies in


    The UNC held is holding a full day of motorcade meet-ups across the country, mostly along the East West Corridor, and ending in south at the Moruga/Tableland constituency.

    The UNC leader, candidates and supporters began the trek at the La Horquetta/Talparo constituency, moved to Tunapuna then St. Joseph and Barataria/San Juan.

    The roving meetups is carded to head to South in the San Fernando West constituency and then Moruga/Tableland later tonight.

    Speaking in the El Dorado area, Mrs. Kamla Persad-Bissessar called on those present to vote for David Nakhid, their Tunapuna candidate as she promised to make him a Minister in her Government if they are elected into office.

    She also spoke about some of the UNC’s election promises including creating 50,000 jobs, lowering taxes, the return of the student laptop programme and to ensure sick children are taken care of under the Children’s Life Fund.

    Back in La Horquetta/Talparo, the UNC leader spent some time outlining the professional achievements of the candidate for that constituency Jearlean John.

    At that meet-up, a video was played on a screen showing newspaper columnist Professor Selwyn Cudjoe endorsing Ms. John with a short recorded speech.

    A motorcade by the UNC is expected in the San Fernando West area on Sunday, one day before the General Elections.
