Trinidad and Tobago is being added to the United Kingdom’s travel Red List for COVID-19.
This has been confirmed in a Tweet by the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office of the UK government which says it comes into effect from tomorrow at 4am UK time.
It means that all persons permitted to enter the UK from T&T must quarantine in managed hotels for 10 days and take two COVID tests.
Also being added to the Red List are Afghanistan, Bahrain, Costa Rica, Egypt, Sri Lanka and Sudan.
Meanwhile, Portugal is being moved to the Amber List which requires persons arriving in the UK from that country to home-quarantine for 10 days and take two COVID tests.
