Two Scotiabank employees test positive for COVID

Scotiabank has implemented enhanced safety protocols, as an employee of its Diego Martin branch and an employee of its Independence Square branch have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

The bank says these persons have been quarantined since exhibiting symptoms and are now under medical supervision.

It adds that employees who work in the two branches were immediately notified, are in the process of being tested and are self-isolating for the stipulated 14 days.

The Independence Square branch is closed until further notice.

The Diego Martin branch will reopen tomorrow, September 22nd, with a new rotation of employees.

Scotiabank says it will ensure that the branches undergo stringent deep cleaning and sanitization prior to reopening.
