Two men have been placed on a bond to keep the peace for a year after being charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

28-year-old Sameer Mohammed of Charlieville and 37-year-old Jonathan Hernandez appeared in court yesterday and pleaded guilty.

They were bonded in the amounts of $5,000 and $2,000 respectively and, in default, would serve one year of simple imprisonment.

The two were caught driving under the influence during a speed and curfew enforcement exercise in Tunapuna on Friday 16th July 2021.
