During an anti-crime operation in Santa Cruz yesterday, officers held two men and seized a firearm and a quantity of ammunition.
The suspects, aged 26 and 24, were driving along Celestine Street, La Canoa Road, Lower Santa Cruz, when they were stopped by police.
The vehicle was searched and the illegal items were found under the driver’s seat.
The 24 year old man meanwhile was additionally held in connection with a robbery in the Central Division.
Three men were arrested and more than $20,000 in stolen items recovered, after a house breaking in Vistabella on October 29th.
Police say the victim secured her home around 8am and returned at 5:30pm the same day, when she noticed that it had been broken into.
Upon checking, she realized that several items including a laptop, TV, two pairs of sneakers and a quantity of jewelry were missing.
She reported the incident at the Marabella Police Station and after investigations, the suspects, aged 18, 19 and 24, was held.
