Two fishing boats stolen in Tobago


    Two fishing vessels, along with their Yamaha 75 engines were stolen at Belle Garden, Tobago overnight.

    Fishermen and Friends of the Sea secretary Gary Aboud says the bandits truck between 11pm and 3am.

    One of the vessels, named Sauce, was later found damaged against the rocks at Studley Park, due to engine failure.

    The other vessel, named Unity, is yet to be found and police have been alerted to the theft.

    FFOS says it is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of the stolen vessel – Unity TFT 1429, and the incarceration of the pirates.
