Two bandits were arrested after robbing a fruit vendor at gunpoint in La Romaine.
According to reports, they walked up to the seller around 11am yesterday and announced a holdup.
They took $3,000 cash and fled in a white Nissan wing-road wagon.
The vendor flagged down a passing police vehicle following which several areas were locked down.
The getaway car was subsequently intercepted in Duncan Village and both occupants were detained however, the money was not recovered.
