Two men appeared in court today over separate allegations of sexual assaults.
In one case, a suspect appeared before a Couva magistrate and was remanded into custody over claims that a 25-year-old man had sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old girl.
The accused is due back in court on February 10th, 2023.
In the other case, a 34-year-old labourer was granted $150,000 bail over four counts of sexual penetration and two counts of sexual touching.
The charges stem from a report made by a 17-year-old girl.
He is scheduled to reappear in court next Tuesday.
